Siddick lies just north of Workington in West Cumbria, accessed primarily via the A596 coastal road. Most visitors arrive from the M6 via the A66 and A595, whilst locals use minor roads connecting to Seaton and surrounding villages. The area's Norse-derived name reflects its Viking heritage, with "wick" meaning bay or inlet.
