Shorthampton lies in the Cotswolds between Charlbury and Chipping Norton, reached via the A361 from Junction 9 of the M40. Popular routes include short trips to Charlbury station and longer journeys from Oxford, Birmingham, and London. The area has approximately 60 EV charging points nearby. The village church houses a rare 14th-century wooden rood screen, one of only a few surviving examples in Oxfordshire.
