Shenval lies in the Scottish Highlands west of Inverness, reached via the A831 through Glen Urquhart. The village sits along the scenic route connecting Drumnadrochit to Cannich, about 25km from Inverness via the A82 and A831. It's positioned near the River Glass valley system amongst ancient Caledonian forest and open moorland, with approximately four public fast EV chargers serving the area. Traditional stone bridges span the River Glass as it flows toward the River Beauly.
