Sharples
England
Sharples is a residential area on Bolton's northern edge, built on elevated ground above the town center. The A58 Chorley New Road provides the main access route, connecting to the M61 at Horwich for longer journeys, while most local trips head south into Bolton. The area has a notably cooler climate than central Bolton due to its exposed position on the moors' edge. The 16th-century Sharples Hall remains one of Bolton's finest Tudor buildings.
