Shannochie is a small settlement on Arran's southern coast, reached via the CalMac ferry from Ardrossan to Brodick, then the A841 coastal road. The area sits among gentle rolling countryside, quite different from Arran's dramatic northern peaks. About 7 public EV chargers serve the island. The surrounding area contains several well-preserved ancient stone circles.
