Shandwick is a small coastal village on Easter Ross's Seaboard Peninsula, reached via the B9165 from Tain or as part of the popular Seaboard Villages touring route. The settlement offers views across the Moray Firth and sits about an hour from Inverness on the A9. The village is famous for its towering 9th-century Pictish stone, one of Scotland's finest examples of Celtic sculpture.
