Severn Stoke is a small Worcestershire village beside the River Severn, about 8 miles south of Worcester. Reach it via the A38 from Worcester or the A4104 through Upton upon Severn from M5 Junction 8. The 12th-century Church of St Denys houses a medieval rood screen with original painted details.
