Seafar forms part of Cumbernauld in North Lanarkshire, connected by the A80 to Glasgow (25km) and Stirling. The M80 provides motorway access whilst local roads serve daily commuters to Cumbernauld station. Over 150 EV charging points serve the area. The nearby Cumbernauld Town Centre remains a striking example of 1960s Brutalist architecture.
