Scriven is a small North Yorkshire village near Knaresborough, easily reached via the A59 between Harrogate and Knaresborough. Popular with commuters, it sits just 2km from Knaresborough's historic castle and 5km from Harrogate's spa district. The A1(M) provides longer connections 15km east. You can still catch the faint sulfur scent from Harrogate's famous springs on certain days.
