School Aycliffe is a small County Durham community just off the A167, 2km from Darlington centre. The A1(M) runs 5km west, providing excellent motorway links north to Newcastle and south to Yorkshire. Most visitors use the A167 from either direction, though the A68 offers a prettier western approach through Teesdale.
