Scald End is a small Bedfordshire village just north of Bedford, reached via the A6 and A428 before turning onto country lanes through Thurleigh. With around 100 EV charging points in nearby Bedford, it's well-positioned for electric vehicles. The village's unusual name comes from a medieval hot spring that once scalded unwary visitors.
