Sandwell

Sandwell forms part of the Black Country between Birmingham and Wolverhampton, easily reached via the M5 motorway. Junction 1 serves West Bromwich whilst Junction 2 accesses Oldbury, with the A4018 connecting the borough's six towns. Most journeys are local commutes into Birmingham city centre, though the M54 provides swift access to Telford and Shropshire. Thomas Telford's magnificent Galton Bridge still carries trains across the canal in a soaring 70-foot arch.
