Sandgreen is a small coastal village in Dumfries and Galloway, reached via the A75 and A755 from Dumfries or local roads from Kirkcudbright. The settlement overlooks Wigtown Bay's tidal mudflats, which create a constantly shifting landscape of water and exposed sand with each tide.
