Sandend is a small fishing village on Scotland's Moray Firth coast, reached via the scenic A98 between Portsoy and Cullen. Most visitors arrive from the A96 at Fochabers or Keith, with locals often using the quieter B9139 from Fordyce. The sheltered bay provides some protection from North Sea storms, though coastal fog is common on summer mornings. The beach features a distinctive natural rock arch at its eastern end, visible at low tide.
