Sancreed occupies a peaceful spot in west Cornwall's interior, about 6 miles from Land's End. Reach it via the A30 to A3071, then local roads through Drift. The village boasts one of Cornwall's finest medieval church towers and a 9th-century Celtic cross with elaborate carved knotwork in the churchyard.
