Salthill runs along Galway Bay just west of the city centre, easily reached via the R336 from town or the N6 from Dublin. The R336 follows the famous promenade where you'll find Leisureland and several golf courses. There's plenty of EV charging about if you're driving electric. The bay's grand for sailing and water sports, while the promenade draws crowds year-round.
