Saltcotes

Saltcotes lies on Lancashire's Fylde Coast between Lytham and the Irish Sea. Reach it via the A584 coastal road from Preston or the M55 from further afield. The town sits amongst the flat Fylde plain with its temperate maritime climate, forming part of the coastal strip that includes Lytham St Annes. Historic salt works buildings along the eastern edge recall the medieval industry behind the town's name.
