Sacriston lies in County Durham's hills, 8km northwest of Durham city via the A691 through Witton Gilbert. From Newcastle, take the A1(M) to Junction 63, then the A167 toward Durham. The former pit village sits on elevated ground with over 250 EV charging points regionally. The preserved Art Deco pithead baths building, now an auto parts shop, retains its original facade and railings.
