Rubane is a small coastal settlement on the Ards Peninsula's eastern shore, sitting beside Strangford Lough near Kircubbin and Glastry. Reach it via the A20 Portaferry Road from Newtownards, about 45 minutes from Belfast. The area has around 18 EV charging points spread across nearby towns. Historic bathing houses along the lough recall Victorian visitors who came for therapeutic sea bathing.
