Roxton is a small Bedfordshire village on the River Great Ouse, reached via the A428 from Bedford (6 miles west) or the A1 near St. Neots. Popular with walkers exploring the river valley, it's also a convenient stop between the Midlands and East Anglia. The 13th-century St. Mary Magdalene church contains exceptional medieval wall paintings that survived the Reformation.
