Roxburgh is a small Borders settlement near Kelso, reached via the A698 from Edinburgh (A68 route) or Glasgow (M74 to A7). The area has around 16 EV charging points for touring the region. Once the site of a major medieval royal castle and burgh, only grassy earthworks now remain where this strategically important fortress once controlled the river crossing.
