Routster lies in the Yorkshire Dales, easily reached via the A65 from Skipton or Kendal. The town serves as a base for exploring the Three Peaks, with good EV charging facilities for the many walkers who visit. The market square still has its original Victorian cobblestones laid in a herringbone pattern to stop horses slipping.
