Rousham

England

England

Rousham is a small Oxfordshire village reached via the A4260, just off the M40 at Junction 10. Popular with day-trippers from Oxford (30km) and weekend visitors from London via the motorway, it sits among the area's characteristic stone villages. The village is famous for Rousham House, which contains William Kent's 1740s landscape garden, one of England's earliest and most perfectly preserved examples of the genre.
