Roundway

Roundway lies just outside Devizes on elevated ground above the Vale of Pewsey. Reach it via the A361 from the M4 (Junction 16), or take the A342 from the south through Salisbury Plain. The settlement sits amid typical Wiltshire chalk downland countryside. Roundway Hospital, a Victorian-era mental health facility, remains the area's most notable landmark and continues as a major regional healthcare institution.
