Rosgill

England

England

Rosgill is a small Cumbrian village in the Eden Valley, just off the A6 between Shap and Penrith. Access is straightforward via the M6 (junctions 38 or 39) then the A6, with local roads connecting to Haweswater and the northern Lakes. The area serves as a gateway to Ullswater and the eastern fells. The 12th-century church contains an exceptionally rare carved tympanum showing the Agnus Dei.
