Rosewell is a former mining village in Midlothian, 15 kilometers south of Edinburgh via the A6094 and A7. The A720 bypass provides the quickest route from the capital, taking about 25 minutes. With over 150 fast chargers nearby, it's well-positioned for electric vehicle journeys to the Borders or Highlands. The 1896 parish church's distinctive red sandstone tower dominates the village center.
