Rookwith is a small North Yorkshire village on the A6108 between Masham and Leyburn, surrounded by typical Dales farmland and stone walls. Most visitors arrive via the A1 and A684 from Leeming Bar, whilst locals use minor roads connecting nearby villages like Thirn and Thornton Steward. The 12th-century St. Andrew's church houses a rare medieval wooden rood screen.
