united kingdom

Roecliffe is a North Yorkshire village on the A6055, three kilometres from the A1(M) at Junction 48. Popular with visitors exploring nearby Aldborough's Roman ruins and as a base for the Yorkshire Dales, it's easily reached from Harrogate, Ripon, or longer routes via the A1 corridor. The village sits close to the ancient Roman settlement of Isurium Brigantum, where original mosaic floors remain visible today.
