Rock perches on the Camel Estuary opposite Padstow, reached via the A39 to Wadebridge then the B3314. Popular with sailors and second-home owners, it's linked to Polzeath and Trebetherick by winding coastal lanes. The village sits beneath the notorious Doom Bar sandbank, which has wrecked countless vessels and inspired Sharp's brewery's flagship ale.
