Ripon lies 25 miles northwest of York on the A61, which connects south to Harrogate and Leeds or north to Thirsk and the A1(M). The A6108 provides the main east-west route through the city centre. With over 40 public fast chargers available, it's well-equipped for electric vehicles. The cathedral contains England's oldest Anglo-Saxon crypt, built in 672 AD.
