Rinnigill is a small settlement on Hoy, reached by ferry from mainland Orkney then a 4km drive from Lyness. The area offers excellent access to Scapa Flow's wartime sites, with several concrete gun emplacements still visible along the shoreline that once defended this crucial naval anchorage.
