Ringmer is a Sussex village positioned between the South Downs and coast, about 8km northeast of Lewes. The A26 runs straight through, connecting to the A27 for coastal routes or continuing north toward the M25. It's handy for Glyndebourne Opera House and makes a good base for exploring both historic Lewes and Brighton. The village green still has a working blacksmith's forge.
