Rillaton lies in east Cornwall near the Devon border, accessible via the A390 from either Liskeard or Callington. The village sits amongst ancient moorland and former mining country, with the A38 from Plymouth providing the main long-distance connection. Bronze Age burial mounds dot the surrounding landscape, including the site where the renowned Rillaton Gold Cup was unearthed.
