Rickling Green is a small Essex village near the Hertfordshire border, reached via the B1383 from M11 Junction 8 or the A120. It sits in gently rolling countryside about 8km from Stansted Airport, making it popular with air travellers. The village retains its rural character despite excellent transport links, with over 40 EV charging points nearby. The Victorian postbox on the green has been repainted so many times since 1887 that its original ironwork details have become charmingly rounded.
