Rickinghall lies in Suffolk near the Norfolk border, accessible via the A143 which runs from Great Yarmouth to the A14. The B1113 provides connections north to Diss, whilst country lanes link surrounding villages like Botesdale and Redgrave. This quiet farming community sits between the A140 and A1066 corridors, making it reachable from Norwich, Ipswich, or Cambridge. The village comprises two ancient parishes, Rickinghall Superior and Rickinghall Inferior, still divided by their original boundary stream.
