Rhuvoult

Scotland
Rhuvoult occupies a spectacular position on Scotland's far northwest coast, where single-track roads wind through some of the Highlands' most remote territory. Access requires patience along the A838 via Rhiconich, with the nearest substantial town being Kinlochbervie just 4km away. The village serves as the jumping-off point for the mile-long walk to Sandwood Bay, one of Britain's most isolated beaches, complete with its famous sea stack sentinel.
