Revidge

England

Revidge forms part of Blackburn's northern suburbs, sitting on higher ground with views across the Ribble Valley toward the Pennines. The A666 Preston New Road provides the main route through the area, connecting directly to Blackburn centre and onward to the M65 for Manchester or the M6. Popular drives include the A677 to Clitheroe for access to the Forest of Bowland, whilst the A59 serves Preston-bound traffic. The area's elevated position means it occasionally catches snow when the valley floor stays clear, and there are over 100 EV charging points locally. Revidge houses Queen Elizabeth's Grammar School, founded in 1567 and still operating under its original Tudor charter.
