Redgate

Redgate occupies elevated ground in Cornwall's former mining heartland, surrounded by moorland and granite tors east of Bodmin Moor. The A38 provides the main connection, linking Plymouth to the northeast with Bodmin and Truro westward, whilst the A390 connects to St. Austell and the south coast. Most traffic uses the A38 corridor, following ancient mining routes through villages like Saint Cleer and Dobwalls. The area has over 40 public EV charging points. The town's Victorian engine house chimney once topped Cornwall's deepest copper mine.
