Redcross is a handy village in County Wicklow, sitting between Arklow and Rathdrum on the R750. It's about 80 kilometers from Dublin via the M11 and Junction 19, taking roughly an hour and fifteen minutes. The R752 gives you another route west toward Avoca and the Wicklow Mountains. The village makes a grand base for golfers, with four decent courses nearby including Arklow Golf and the European Club. You'll find fast charging stations in Arklow if you're driving electric. The village got its name from a red cross that marked a medieval crossroads, and you can still spot bits of the old marker near the center.
