Redcastle
Scotland
Scotland
Redcastle perches on the Beauly Firth's northern shore, a Highland village where the A862 coastal road offers fine views across the water. Most arrive via the A9 from Inverness, then branch off at Beauly for the 25-kilometre run along the firth. Electric vehicle charging is well sorted with about 10 fast chargers nearby. The village takes its name from a 12th-century castle whose red sandstone ruins still peek through the coastal scrub.
