Rawyards forms part of Airdrie in North Lanarkshire, sitting amongst the rolling hills east of Glasgow. The M8 motorway lies 3km south, connecting Glasgow (20km west) and Edinburgh (65km east), whilst the A89 provides local access through Airdrie. Electric vehicle charging is excellent, with over 150 fast chargers nearby. Former coal mining sites have been converted into pleasant green walking routes.
