Ravenshall lies along the A531 between Newcastle-under-Lyme and Nantwich, about 8km from the M6 at Junction 16. Most visitors arrive from Newcastle (15km) or Nantwich (20km), whilst long-distance drivers use it as a convenient waypoint between Manchester and Birmingham. The surrounding Staffordshire-Cheshire border countryside features rolling hills and farmland, with plenty of EV charging options nearby. The town's 15th-century market cross still stands where farmers have traded for over 500 years.
