Raunds lies along the A45 between Northampton and Peterborough, making it easily accessible from both directions within half an hour. The A605 provides quick links to Thrapston and Oundle for local trips, whilst the nearby A14 connects to Cambridge and the Midlands. The town's Victorian shoe factory buildings, including the former Tebbutt Brothers works, still dominate parts of the streetscape.
