England
Rastrick is a former mill town in the Calder Valley between Halifax and Brighouse, now primarily residential with good transport links. The A644 provides the main route through town, whilst the M62 at Junction 25 connects to major cities. Local drivers use the A643 via Elland and A6025 towards Huddersfield for daily journeys. The town sits on elevated ground with typical Pennine weather patterns. Rastrick is home to one of England's oldest brass bands, founded in 1881.
