Ranelagh is a leafy southside suburb just three kilometres from Dublin city centre, easily reached via the M50 and N11 before turning onto local roads like the R118. The area connects well to central Dublin along the Grand Canal and serves commuters from nearby Rathmines and Rathgar. You'll find several golf courses within thirty minutes' drive, including Powerscourt East and West through County Wicklow, plus Dun Laoghaire closer to the coast. The neighbourhood centres around a distinctive triangular village green where the main roads meet, marked by a small stone monument that everyone calls "the triangle."
