Ramsbottom
England
England
Ramsbottom nestles in the Irwell Valley between Bury and the West Pennine Moors, easily reached via the A676 from Bury or Junction 1 of the M66. The town serves as a gateway to the moors while maintaining excellent transport links, including the heritage East Lancashire Railway. Its most famous tradition is the annual World Black Pudding Throwing Championships, a wonderfully eccentric contest that perfectly captures the town's character.
