Ramleaze forms part of Swindon's western suburbs, accessible via the A4259 Marlborough Road from the town centre. The M4 Junction 15 lies 3 miles east, connecting to London and Bristol, whilst the A419 provides routes north to Cirencester. Over 100 EV charging points serve the greater Swindon area. The name derives from medieval "leaze" fields where livestock once grazed.
