Rait is a small Perth and Kinross village positioned between Perth and Dundee along the A90 corridor. The settlement provides easy access to both cities whilst maintaining a rural character in the fertile Carse of Gowrie. The village is notable for housing the ruins of Rait Castle, one of Scotland's oldest stone castles dating from the 13th century.
