Quernmore lies northeast of Lancaster in the Lune Valley, reached via the A683 through Lancaster then local roads. Most arrive from M6 Junction 34, whilst locals commute daily into Lancaster in about 10 minutes. The village sits beneath the Forest of Bowland hills with approximately 40 EV charging points available in nearby Lancaster. The old mill beside Artle Beck still shows its original waterwheel from the road.
