Putley lies in Herefordshire's cider country, surrounded by traditional orchards and gentle hills near the Welsh border. Reach it via the A449 from the M50, then A438 towards Hereford before turning south through Trumpet. Local routes wind through Pixley and Aylton to Ledbury, whilst eastern lanes lead towards the Malverns. Dragon Orchard here grows century-old cider apple trees including rare Kingston Black varieties.
